The Civic Holiday long weekend is among the busiest weekends in Jasper National Park. Reservations at hotels, motels, hostels and campsites ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Almost all of the campsites in Jasper National Park are on a first come, first serve basis, with the exception of Pocohontas (where reservations can be made in advance). Arriving on Thursday evening or Friday moing may improve your chances of getting a campsite.
